These mugs are hand made on the potter's wheel. They are food, microwave and diswasher safe. They have been kiln fired to 2185 ºF making them durable for everyday use.

The process in making these mugs is labor intentsive. Before the mugs are even made, the logo mold is hand carved from a block of clay and then cast is plaster. Each mug starts off as a piece of clay that is weighed, wedged, and individually hand thrown on the potter's wheel. The logos are rolled and pressed with the handmade stamp. The handles are pulled and attached. Then the bottom of each mug is signed. Once the mugs dry they are loaded into the kiln for a bisque firing. When they come out they are ready to be waxed and glazed and then put back into the kiln for the glaze firing. Finally they are unloaded, inspected, and packaged for delivery.
