John "Fuzz" McCormack started Acorn Pottery during the fall of 2004 on Hatteras Island.  In the winter of 09 he moved the pottery to Williamsburg and then on to Staunton. He has since moved the pottery to Fredericksburg.  While moving around his aim has remained the same to make pottery that is both pleasant to the hand and the eye.
